This exciting musical follows the story of Shlomo Carlebach, the father of popular Jewish music, and the obstacles he faced on his journey to becoming the "soul doctor." The show chronicles his childhood escape from Nazi Germany, becoming a rabbinical prodigy in America and his meteoric rise as a "Rock Star-Rabbi," performing with Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.
